We envision a world where everyone, regardless of age or background, has the chance to develop their creative and technical skills through practical, technology-based education. F3DRONES is dedicated to making drones a valuable part of learning, helping to inspire future innovators.

F3DRONES has its roots in a deep commitment to both hands-on learning and real-world skills. Our founder’s journey started in the US Navy as a mechanic, followed by years of experience in commercial equipment repair and property maintenance management. But the love for technology and education called for a shift, leading to a return to university for a degree in technology and engineering education, focused on vocational education. Add to that a master’s in research and assessment—and now working toward a PhD in career and workforce development—our founder is truly invested in education.

But the story doesn’t end there. Alongside his partner, our founder also co-leads a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Career and Technical Education (CTE) and STEM education. F3DRONES grew out of this work, sparked by requests from educators for more options, lessons, and creative ways to teach tech skills. Seeing how drones could bring technology and critical thinking to life in classrooms, F3DRONES was born.
